Malware That Changed The World – The Conficker Virus

Conficker is the most recent addition to my list of notable malware, having only been released into the wild around October of last year. Many people predicted that Conficker would do some crazy stuff on April the 1st of this year but nothing of note really happened. That doesn’t mean to say that Conficker has gone away though. The Conficker virus, also known as Downadup, Kido and Confiker, is known to have infected up to 6 million computers around the world.
