Japanese Rice Art Is No Hoax

Sometimes I receive emails that sound like they should be hoaxes but arn’t. This one, about Japanese rice art, is one example of something that sounds too bizarre to be true. The pictures, however, are quite genuine – Subject: Rice Art Stunning crop art has sprung up across rice fields in Japan. But this is no alien creation – the designs have been cleverly planted. Farmers creating the huge displays use no ink or dye.
